If the states of Florida and Texas got married what would you get? Texasfest! Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 4:00pm to 10:00pm at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Amphitheatre. A grand gathering of Texas music, food and fun, starting with great Texas and Florida BBQ. You vote for your favorite, while eating free Blue Bell ice cream. At sundown enjoy the music of Granger Smith and his band - a very up and coming band that"s a favorite of the Governor of Texas. Learn the newest line dances and the two-step. And to top it off it's for a good cause - scholarships for local students. Brought to you by the Emerald Coast A&M Club.

Purchse tickets thru emeraldcoasttickets.com or at the college box office (850-729-6000). General Admission tickets are $20 in advance (bring your own chairs or blankets). $25 at the event. Children $10. Tickets purchased in advance for reserved seats: $30. At the event $35.
