There will be a Eglin Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive, February 7-9 from 10am-2pm at the Eglin BX. Those who come out and complete the registration process can potentially become donors who can aid in the battle against various bone marrow disorders. Please, come out, participate, and possibly make a life and death.

U.S. Air Force’s Tops In Blue
The U.S. Air Force’s Tops In Blue is offering a free night of family entertainment at the Emerald Coast Convention Center, February 10th, from 6pm-11:30pm. In this year’s show, Tops In Blue 2011 drums up their own rhythm, Audiences will be tapping their feet to pulsating music from great performers like the jazz of Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday, the great rock n’ roll sounds of Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis, the cool Motown R&B of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, hits by J-Lo and Michael Franti, some inspirational country sounds and much, much more! No Tops In Blue show would be complete without famous patriotic music, as they pay tribute to the Heroes of September 11, 2001 as we recognize their sacrifices ten years later. “Tops In Blue is the Air Force’s premier entertainment showcase,” said Tom Edwards, show producer and chief of Air Force Entertainment. “The new 2011 team is a reflection of the ‘best of the best’ performers throughout the Air Force.”

Green Earth Living Craft Class Series: Ribbon Box Making

Do you have leftover strips of fabric or ribbon? Take the second class in the Green Earth Living Craft Class Series and learn how to make them into fun and functional ribbon boxes on February 11th from 10-noon! The class costs $10 for the public and $8 for Friends of the Museum members. All class materials are included, but advanced registration and payment (by cash or check) are required. . Artists for Fire and Earth: 2012 Coastal Pottery Expo

The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center announces its "Call to all potters and ceramic artists" who would like to participate in the second annual pottery exposition event titled Fire and Earth: 2012 Coastal Pottery Expo. The event is scheduled on Saturday, April 21st from10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the grounds of Heritage Park and Cultural Center. Non-refundable booth fees for artists are $40.00 per 10 ft. X 10 ft. space. Space is limited. Artists must provide their own tables and tents if they wish to have them.
Artists interested in participating can stop by the Indian Temple Mound Museum or Full Circle Art Gallery in Fort Walton Beach and pick up an application, or call/email to have an application faxed, mailed or emailed. The Indian Temple Mound Museum is open from 10:00 to 4:30 Monday-Saturday, and Full Circle Gallery is open Monday-Saturday from 10:30 to 5:00. Applications must be postmarked by April 7th.

Navarre Fun Fest
The Navarre Fun Fest will be held April 27th from 4-10 and 28th from 10-10 with two concerts on Friday night and two on Saturday night with fireworks! Plus there will be a 5 K run on Saturday and a Corporate Challenge.
